So tonight we were given the opportunity to tell the world who we are and what we do...thanks to Jay Peachy of Sound Therapy Radio. We were featured on a segment called ‘The Artist Lounge” on CJSF 90.1 FM which brings together artists of all genres to talk about their creative expressions.

On Saturday night we were invited to attend a Letter Press party that was put on by the new W2 project in the DTES. The night was overall, awesome.
We met with some friends working with the project who showed us how the letter presses worked and along with some beers and some good music we were able to use these wood blocks and take some paper to create anything with them. Once done we were able to show them on the wall of the venue. it was so packed with other people trying out the blocks that it was hard to find any letters to use, so we just made do with what was available.

The Funk Hunters
These guys were awesome, they had 4 turntables and a great sound. mash-ups of some old funk and great mixing.

So we're all super busy with all of us working on our grad animations, Independent studies and just tying up loose ends with school related things. I do have a new run of fresh t's but i havent had the time to get images uploaded to the website. We're super stoked on two more designs that will be printed this week and thank goodness just in time for RiP and the Emily Carr BYOM Media Pub Night! yessss. Thanks to Su-An Ng for her contribution and Gillian Cole again for her contribution. Alas. I do have some visual delights to keep you from getting too bored.

we had our art-o-thon this weekend! not a lot of attendees but in the end it worked out for the better in a spacewise sort of way. it was quite involved this weekend. we have some new designs sealed and ready for print now and we will soon be crafting together some hand screened gift wrap and making some Roy Collective magnets! so keep on the look out for some fun stuff!
anyway, heres some pictures of the nights events! i will be posting the art that we created and it will be for sale on the big cartel website! please if you can, buy some art! its for the homeless!

This weekend we are hosting an art-a-thon! Everyone is invited! We will be posting the art created by our collective and be putting it up for sale in the Roy online store! The proceeds from sales will be going directly to those in need of food, shelter and help just getting by. Check back in soon we'll have some fantastic art posted for ya'll to check out!

We finally have our big cartel site up and running. not all our designs are available yet but we are working diligently to get all our designs online as soon as possible. We can say with confidence that all designs will be up and ready to go by the end of the week.
